I hope you all had a good Christmas spending quality time with your family, friends and pets. Hopefully everyone found a way to stay warm for the holidays.
I’m back with another product review. This week I’ll be reviewing an interactive pet toy. Check out my video!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dog, Oreo, because I know how much she loves laser pointers. She was a puppy I got from the Humane Society back in September. Definitely a sweetheart that brings joy and welcomes cuddles. (:
Before I discovered the Frolicat Bolt, I played with Oreo using a regular laser pointer. I would move the laser back and forth while she chased it. There were times when I used the regular laser pointer for over an hour. My arms would get tired but she still had the energy to continue to chase the light. Puppies just have sooooo much energy!
I purchased this pet toy from Bed Bath and Beyond for about $17USD. It’s priced at $19.99USD but you can use their 20% off coupon on this item.
This device runs on 4 AA batteries (not included). It is used for a hands-free play session on your pets. The toy is suppose to automatically move the laser in random patterns for 15 minutes.
The product has a mirror that the laser reflects off of onto the ground and walls. The mirror is also adjustable so you can alter the angle of the laser. You just need to put this device on a flat surface and turn it on.
Overall, the laser did keep Oreo occupied. The only issue I had with the toy was that the light would sometimes shine onto her body. She would not be able to find it but good thing it moves in random patterns so it eventually moves into an area where she can spot and chase it. Just be cautious when using this toy because it is a laser pointer. Never leave your pets unattended.
Please note that even if Oreo loves the toy, it doesn’t mean that all dogs will love the toy as well. This product only works well for animals that are known to love laser pointers. I have a maltese at home who doesn’t care for laser pointers so I got her stuffed toys for Christmas instead. Snoopy is her favorite.
Hopefully you guys found this review entertaining and helpful. Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time!
