Hope everyone is well.
We’ve been getting quite a lot of rain for the past week. I haven’t seen rain like this in years. There are mudslides and floods happening all over the Bay Area.
There’s a trail that I walk on with my coworkers during my break. On that trail, there’s a little creek. During our walks lately, we couldn’t help but notice how full the creek has gotten over the course of a few days. Never seen it so high. There was so much water now. Be careful with the floods and drive safe everyone!
This week I’m back with another review. I’ll be talking about a very wonderful eye shadow palette.
I finally got a chance to try out the Tail & Top Hats Eye Shadow Palette by Lorac. This is a limited edition palette that they came out with for the holidays. I’m a little late with the review but better late than never. 😊
I picked this up from Ulta for $18USD. I heard the price dropped to $12USD shortly after. Definitely worth buying, especially when it goes on sale.
Every year they come out with different palettes for their holiday collection. This year their packaging is rose gold. Just look at how the cover glistens with the light. It’s sooo pretty!
The eye shadow palette contains seven neutral tone eye shadows. There are three matte shades and four shimmery brown shades.
Below are the swatches of all the shades. The colors go on extremely smooth, not chalky at all.
This is actually my first palette by Lorac. I’ve never tried any of their makeup before but I really like this.
This palette is great for every day wear. Very versatile for any occasion.
I like how my eye makeup turned out with this palette. It’s nice but not too dramatic. Definitely added a little more dimension to my eyes.
Overall, I really like how compact this is. I’m going to take this palette with me whenever I travel. Much easier to carry than my Urban Decay’s Naked Palette.
The palette is no longer available at Ulta. Give this palette a try if you happen to stumble across this anywhere. Maybe next year during the month of November, they’ll have a similar kind of palette. 🙂
I hope everyone tries to stay warm and dry.
Have a wonderful day! Thanks again for stopping by!
Until next time!
