Hanaka Blackhead Pore Reducing Facial Mask

Hey guys!

Happy Wednesday! The weather is slowly starting to warm up in sunny California. What is better than treating your skin to a cooling at-home facial? Perfect timing to start using sheet masks and cooling facial masks. It’ll be a very refreshing experience and your skin will thank you later.

My favorite type of sheet masks are from Taiwan by My Beauty Diary, which I  will review at a later time. Today, I’m reviewing a wash off face mask by Hanaka. Hanaka is a skincare brand that is also based in Taiwan.

I purchased this Hanaka Blackhead Pore Facial Mask from Yesstyle for $19.90USD. You get 250g of product, which is more than 3x the amount of product I get from Origins wash off face masks. Pretty good value!

Hanaka Charcoal Pore Facial Mask

Benefits

  • Contains charcoal that deep cleans the skin.
  • Made with bamboo that moisturizes the skin.
  • Made with tranexamic acid that purifies the skin.
  • Has a nice light refreshing scent to the product.
  • Gel consistency which makes it easy to apply and remove.

I’ve used about a third of the tub already. I don’t use the mask all the time so I know it will last me for awhile.

You just need to start off with a clean face. Apply a thick layer with the spatula that it comes with. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. I like to maximize the benefits so I leave my mask on for 30 minutes. The mask tingles a little but but it does not hurt. It is actually quite refreshing because the jelly consistency feels cool when applied to the skin.

When it’s time to wash off the mask, scrape it off with the spatula onto a paper towel. Then wash your face with lukewarm water.

I haven’t seen much difference to the size of my pores but my skin always feels smooth and hydrated after doing this mask. It does not make me break out. Overall, this mask is good if your skin needs a little pick me up.

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time!

❤️ Connie
