Hey guys!
It’s that time of month again for subscription box reviews.
Last month was my first time receiving a play box from Sephora. I was really happy with the brands and products that they included.
I’ll be reviewing what I received from my play box for this month. Ipsy will come next Wednesday so stay tuned.
For April, I received a variety of goodies.
My play box included the following six items.
- Marc Jacobs Daisy Fragrance
- Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cream
- Kate Somerville Exfoliating Treatment
- Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
- Make Up Forever Aqua XL Eye Pencil
- Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
I tried out the eyeliner and the eye makeup remover.
Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Waterproof Eyepencil
The color I received is in black.
- Intense jet black pigmentation
- Creamy consistency
- Glides on very smooth
- Waterproof
I tried to smudge the eyeliner with my fingers but it barely budged. The product is really good. I kind of wish they made a fine pointed eyeliner pencil like the one from Visee. I’ve been so use to using that lately. Haha.
I would use this eyeliner to tight line my eyes. This is also perfect to use on your lower lash line. It’s not going to give you those unwanted panda eyes.
Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
I absolutely love the size of the eye makeup remover. It’s perfect for traveling.
- Gentle solution for sensitive eyes
- Contains vitamins and extracts
- Conditions lashes
- Strengthens lashes
- Easy eye makeup removal
I must say the eye makeup remover works pretty well. I was able to remove the Make Up Forever eyeliner after dipping a cotton swab in the solution. I will be including this in my makeup travel bag. Super cute and handy!
I haven’t used the product long enough to see if it made a difference to my lashes; however, I like how it’s enriched with lots of benefits. It’s not your typical makeup remover.
Overall, I’m happy with the products that I received this month. I’m looking forward to trying the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. I’m currently using the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. It creates a very smooth base for foundation application. I wonder if the primers are comparable.
Until next time!
Connie
I’ve used that Smashbox primer for a while! Love the feel of it!
