Ipsy April 2017 Glam Bag

Hey guys!

I transformed my hair again this past weekend. The original color faded back to how it was after my first hair session. I really wanted to change it because of how brassy and dull my hair looked. I decided to try out a direct dye at home.

The mermaid blue color is very vibrant compared to how my hair was before. Below is a picture of my hair transformation within the past couple months. What do you guys think of the change? I think it’s really fun to have colored hair.

I’m going to be reviewing my Ipsy April Glam Bag today. The makeup bag is shaped like a ticket stub. The ticket stub design has a nice coral color.

Below are the items that I received from my glam bag this month.

Ipsy April 2017 Glam bag

My April 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag includes the following items:

  • MintPear Vitamin C Serum
  • Josie Maran Cosmetics Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter
  • Glamour Dolls Angle Blush Brush
  • Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer (Palm Island)
  • Jesse’s Girl Liquid Eyeliner (Black)

“Yay” for a new makeup brush to add to my collection!

However, I’ll be reviewing the serum and the eyeliner today. 😛

MintPear Vitamin C Serum

MintPear Vitamin C Serum

  • Contains natural ingredients
    • Vitamin C that helps with sunspots and signs of aging
    • Aloe vera that helps soothe the skin
    • Vitamin E that moisturized the skin
  • Gentle enough for sensitive skin
  • Cruelty free
  • Serum is not greasy
  • Abosrbs quickly

MintPear Vitamin C Serum

I love skincare items. I don’t apply serum in my morning routine because of how oily my face can get during the day. I like to apply this at night before bed. It has lighten a few of my acne scars. Big plus!

Jesse’s Girl Liquid Eyeliner

The color I received is in black.

Jesses girl Eyeliner

  • Made with a felt tip
  • Easy to use
  • Draws a thin or thick line
  • Very typical eyeliner

Jesse's Girl Liquid Eye Liner

There’s nothing that stands out to me about this product. It reminds me of the Stila Liquid Eye Liner that I used a few years ago. The quality and the felt tip is very similar.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the Stila Liquid eyeliner, give this one a try. It’s available at your local Walgreens or Rite Aid for only $7 USD.

Until next time!

❤️ Connie
