Sparks Long-Lasting Bright Hair Color

Hey guys!

Have you ever wanted to dye your hair a crazy color? It’s actually really fun to have colored hair for a short period of time.

I will be sharing and reviewing the product I used to touch up my blue hair.  But before that, I’m going to take you guys on my little hair journey.

Initially, I got my hair done by my friend who was mentioned in my post back in February.

After about two months, my blonde hair and my green ends started to show.

I came across Sparks when I was looking up hair dyes. Sparks is known for their wide range of vibrant color options. It’s a semi permanent dye that can be applied directly to your hair. I purchased the shade Mermaid Blue from Amazon for $7.99 USD. Pretty affordable!

For best results, bleach hair before use and ask someone to help you with the application.

I used one bottle for my whole head. If you have fuller hair, you’ll need at least two bottles. My boyfriend helped me apply the product to the back of my head, which is the part that I cannot see.

I left the product on for 20 minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. Once the water starts to run clear, shampoo and condition your hair like normal. Make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner that is safe for color treated hair. The shampoo and conditioner that I use is by Joico.

I really liked the end result of the touch up. My hair instantly became more vibrant.

I’ve had my colored hair for about two weeks now. It faded slightly but most of the color is still there.

Depending on how often you wash your hair, the lasting power of the color may vary.

I will need to do another touch up or change my hair in about a month or two. What color should I dye next once the blue fades? Rose gold, pink and purple, or mauve? There are just too many colors to chose from. Should I go for a color that’s bold or a little more subtle?

Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed. 🙂

Until next time. Thanks for stopping by!

❤️ Connie
