I’ll be reviewing a few items I received in my Sephora Play Box this month. It’s only $10 USD + tax and you get 6 sample products! You can find more details about it here.
Normally, my products come in a fabric drawstring bag. This month, it came in a see-through square button pouch.
My play box included the following six items.
- Trestique Mini Highlight Stick
- Tata’s Natural Alchemy Resurfacing Mask
- Christophe Robin Purifying Scrub
- Milk Beauty Blur Stick
- Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper
- Nest Black Tulip Fragrance
I tested out the blur stick, highlighter, and resurfacing mask .
Milk Beauty Blur Stick
I was super excited when I received this product in my box. I’ve always wanted to try some Milk products. A lot of people rave about their highlighter. I was expecting the blur stick to be really good as well. It’s a primer stick that is suppose to help minimize the appearance of pores and lock in your makeup with a matte smooth finish.
- Formultated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates
- Vegan and cruelty free
Unfortunately, this product did not make the cut this month. When I applied this product to my face, I felt like it did nothing for me. 😞
Trestique Mini Highlight Stick
I think highlighters are so pretty but it’s not something I would wear every day.
- Gel cream highlighter
- Smooth and blendable
- Brightens up complexion
- Shimmery finish
So pretty!! I wouldn’t mind popping this under my brow bone, on top of my cupids bow or in the center of my lids on top of eyeshadow. 😄 Might as well just put it everywhere. Haha!
It gives a really nice glow to the skin.
Tata Harper Skincare Resurfacing Mask
I love skincare!
- Gel mask
- Fast absorbing
- Best to use everyday for 3 days then switch to 1-2 times per week
- 100% natural non-toxic ingredients
- Revives dull looking skin
I personally haven’t used the mask long enough to see the benefits but I like how the product is made with natural ingredients. It made my skin feel plump. In the long run, it’s good for the skin. I personally like to use this an overnight mask because it dries really quickly.
The scent reminds me of my Michael Todd products. It’s slightly herbally but smells nice.
I was disappointed with my product from Milk; however, I was happy with the face mask and highlight stick that I tried shortly after.
I can’t get enough of how beautiful the highlighter is. The nice glow that the shimmers give to the skin can make anyone feel so pretty. 😍
Have you guys tried any of these products?
Thank you for stopping by. Until next time!
P.S. Check out my Sephora Play Box from last month.
