Ipsy July 2017 Glam Bag

Hey guys!

I received my Ipsy glam bag in a golden yellow bag this month. It was a little strange for me at first. Ipsy packages normally comes in a hot pink shipping bag.

When I opened the packaging (to my surprise), the design this month has Gudetama! OMG! So cute! 💗

In case you don’t know who Gudetama is, it’s a Sanrio character that is shaped in an egg form. It’s an egg cartoon. Who wouldn’t love it? Of course.. I would know.. Haha. Want to know a fun fact about me? I use to work at a Sanrio during my second year in college. I would practically spend my paycheck on products in the store.

July 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag

My July 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag includes the following items:

  • BRTC Jasmine Water Sleeping Pack
  • Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel
  • Trifle Cosmetics  Ombré Radiance Blush Palette ( Raspberry Ripple)
  • Ciaté London Wonderwand Gel Liner (Black)
  • So Susan Blender Brush

I love when I receive makeup brushes in my subscription. The one that came with my glam bag this month was extremely soft.

In today’s post, I’ll be reviewing the cleansing gel and the sleeping pack.

I’ve used Tarte makeup products before but never tried out their skincare.

  • Vegan
  • Dissolves waterproof makeup
  • Contains antioxidants from marine ingredients
  • Gentle cleanser
  • Non-drying formula
  • Light scent

I must say the face wash was really light and gentle on the skin. It lathered really well. Excuse my bare soapy beard-like face. 😳

BRTC Jasmine Water Sleeping Pack

I have never heard of BRTC. It’s apparently a Korean skincare brand.

  • Moisturizing face mask
  • Light jasmine scent
  • Infused with a blue flower complex that soothes and brightens dull skin

It best applied before bed. Wash off with lukewarm water in the morning.

I normally don’t use sleeping packs during the summer. I think the best time to use it is during the winter season when the weather is colder and my skin becomes drier.

In the past couple of years, I’ve used my Laneige Sleeping Pack. The formula is thicker than the BRTC sleeping pack. Both products leave my skin feeling really nice in the morning. My skin would feel replenished. Perfect to use when skin needs a little pick me up.

I’m happy with the products I tried out this month. I still can’t get over how Ipsy included a Sanrio character on their bag design.  Thanks Ipsy! 😍

In case you guys are interested in signing up for Ipsy, it’s only $10 USD a month.

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time!

❤️ Connie
