My Ipsy Glam Bag took a little longer to arrive this month but I got a bonus item!
When you review products on Ipsy, you accumulate points. I used my points to redeem a product for the first time. Normally, you get 15 points per review that you submit. Simply just rating the items with stars will give you 15 points. 😉 If you’re not an Ipsy subscriber but you’re interested in trying it out, it’s only $10 USD a month.
The makeup bag this month had the “Boss Lady” type of theme. It’s very simple but chic!
My September 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag includes the following items:
- Skin Food Egg White Perfect Pore Cleansing Foam
- Luxie Rose Gold Medium Angled Shading Brush (Brush 207)
- ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip
- Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo (Peach Honey)
- Adesse New York Nail Laquer
- IGK Low Key Cleansing Walnut Scalp Scrub (bonus item, redeemed for 750 points)
I’m currently still testing out the Walnut Scalp Scrub. I suffer from scalp psoriasis and want to use the product long enough to see if it helps reduce the irritation. If you happen to know of any good products that has worked for you, please let me know!
In today’s post, I’ll be reviewing the nail polish and lip gloss.
Adesse New York Nail Laquer
The shade that I received is in deception. I normally wear light pink or pastel colors on my nails. This is my first gray nail polish.
- Shiny finish
- Looks like gel
I only applied two coats of nail polish. I really like the consistency. It’s light and easy to apply.
Some nail polishes that I have used in the past tend to thicken within a few minutes of air exposure. So happy this nail polish does not do that throughout the entire application.
ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip
The shade that I received is in Ipsy VIP.
The lip gloss glides on nicely. Easy to use. Does not bleed out of your normal lip line.
Adding a little bit of color to the lips can make you look a little more put together on your lazy days.
That’s all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Until next time!
P.S. Have you seen my Ipsy Glam Bag review for last month?
