The theme for the Ipsy Glam Bag this month is “Spell Bound.” They’re trying to get us ready for Halloween I suppose.
It has a nice lace detail. Kind of has a vampy vibe. The Ipsy zipper is shaped like a bat.
My October 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag includes the following items:
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
- Tarte Deluxe Lifted Sweatproof Mascara
- Hey Honey Trick and Treat Concealer
- Luna Cosmetics Lip Crayon
- BLAQ Mask
I personally own a full size of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Yeyo. I like using it in the inner corner of my eyes. The eyeliner is extremely long wearing but I’m not going to be reviewing the shade that I got in my glam bag this month. I wanted to try out some new products.
I’ll be testing out the lip crayon and concealer today.
Luna Cosmetics Lip Crayon
The shade that I received is in Elara. It’s definitely one of the “my lips but better” kind of shades.
- Super moisturizing
- Creamy formula
- Buildable coverage
The shade is a little different than the actual color of the lip crayon. Once it’s blended, it becomes a nice rosy pink.
The formula is so creamy and easy to blend. It works really nicely as a cream blush as well. Double use for one product!
Hey Honey Trick And Treat Cream Concealer
The product says it’s for normal to dry skin which made me feel hesitant to try it. I have have oily/combination skin.
What is Active Propilis? Apparently, it’s an ingredient in honey that helps restore the structure of your skin and prevents it from damage.
- Buildable coverage
- Lightweight formula
- Contains amino acids, vitamin E and nourishing oils
The concealer blended well on my skin. I have oily/combination skin on my T-Zone which makes this concealer perfect to use under my eyes. It helps conceal my dark circles. A little goes a long way, so a small drop is more than enough product.
As I pat the concealer under my eyes, I like to use the warmth of my fingers to help blend the product into my skin. I really love makeup that contains benefits for the skin!
Thank you for stopping by. Until next time!
