Ipsy November 2017 Glam Bag

Hey guys!

New month means new products in the mail! This month’s glam bag has a simple yet bold design. It’s asymmetrical.

My November 2017 Ipsy Glam Bag includes the following items:

  • Too-Faced Hangover 3 in 1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray
  • SLMISSGLAM B36 Tapered Highlight Brush
  • TOUCH IN SOL Advanced Real Moisture Liquid Foundation
  • Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Matte Bronzer
  • TARTE Deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

I love when I receive pretty brushes in my glam bag. It has such a nice color. The bristles are super soft as well.

I used the brush to apply the blush and bronzer that I will be reviewing in today’s post.

The shade that I received is in Feisty. I own a full size of the shade in Fearless.

I’ve been using Tarte’s amazonian clay blushes for years; however, this shade is new to me. I usually purchase coral shades for my cheeks. This shade is a little different from what I’m use to.

TARTE Deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Feisty

  • Subtle natural color
  • Perfect shade for Fall
  • Blush lasts all day long
  • Soft and buildable coverage

I like to brush the product lightly onto the temples of my cheeks.

Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Matte Bronzer

The shade that I received is in Bitten and Bronzed. This product is a collaboration with Lisa Frank. I use to purchase a bunch of school supplies by Lisa Frank: binders, folders, notebooks, and pencils. The design brings back so many childhood memories for me.

The only bronzer that I’ve been using for years is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. This shade is a little on the darker side. It slightly more orange than the Hoola Bronzer. I would prefer to wear this shade as an eyeshadow to define my eyes instead of as a bronzer to contour my cheeks, just personal preference.

I also did a review on a dupe to the Hoola Bronzer back in January if you guys want to check it out.

I wore the bronzer and blush for my entire work day. Both lasted all day long. The products helped define my cheekbones and added a little flush of color to my complexion.

These photos were taken after work.

Besides my shiny complexion (from my oily skin), the products did not budge one bit. I’m really happy with the quality of these products.

Thank you for stopping by. Until next time!

❤️ Connie
