Happy Wednesday!
We’ve been getting quite a lot of rain in the Bay Area. It’s kind of nice! (: I even got a chance to witness a double rainbow on my way back from work today. Check out my instagram post.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Ipsy, it’s a monthly makeup subscription that only cost $10 USD a month.
For the month of February, Ipsy gave me a cute makeup bag. I love the simple lacey detail.
My glam bag included the following five items:
- Seraphine Botanicals Blush
- Hey Honey Come Undone Makeup Remover
- trèStiQue Mini Eye Pencil
- Luxie Beauty Blending and Shading Eye Brush
- Apto Skincare Moisture Day Lotion
Ipsy does it again. I got another Luxie brush with my monthly subscription. Luxie brushes are so soft. I love using them to apply my makeup. However, I’ll be reviewing the makeup remover and the blush for today.
Seraphine Botanical Blush
For those of you who don’t know, I love fruits. The moment when I took the blush out of the bag, the first thing I saw was the word “Lychee.”
I noticed the blush contains other fruity extracts. I already fell in love before swatching it. Haha!
- 99% natural
- Easy to blend
- Buildable
- Peachy, rosy shade
- Pretty on all skin tones
The blush is pretty natural. It has a glowy flush of color. The blush also smells nice too. I don’t mind the scent because I love lychee as a fruit and everything with the taste of lychee boba, lychee jelly, lychee gummy, lychee candy. Yum! So a lychee blush is just another love. 😆
Hey Honey Come Undone Face & Eye Daily Makeup Remover
This is kind of like a 2 in 1 product. It acts as a skin cleanser and a makeup remover.
- 100% natural ingredients
- Contains honey to moisturize the skin
- Gel formula
- Great for sensitive skin
- Paraben-free
- Good for all skin types
The cleanser became a light creamy consistency when mixed with water. It doesn’t lather very well. I was starting to expect that my skin would not be cleaned after using the product. I did have trouble removing waterproof makeup like mascara and eyeliner. I had to use a separate eye makeup remover for that. The cleanser was gentle on my skin and completely removed my foundation and concealer.
I personally prefer cleansers that lather more. The cleanser isn’t one product that miraculously removes all makeup residue but it is gentle on the skin. I like how the product is 100% natural so it’s not harmful to your skin. The honey keeps your skin feeling plump and moisturized after cleansing.
Thank you for stopping by. Until next week!
❤ Connie
P.S. Have you seen what I got for the month of January?
i have never owned a eye remover but after watching yours i guess i will give it a try now . nice review
